    Medical Care

    If a student falls ill when in school the teacher will write a note in the school journal (green pages). The student must bring the journal with him/her to the School Office where arrangements will be made for him/her to go home. The student must be signed out by a Parent/Guardian.


    Leaving School Grounds

    For legal reasons, students are not permitted to leave the school grounds at any time during the school day (8.57 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.) unless prior written permission by parents has been given and approved by the Principal, Deputy Principal or Year Head. Students must sign in and out at the School Office.


    Mobile Phones

    Mobile phones are not permitted in school except where school tours/extra curricular activites extend beyond normal school hours. Where a student brings a mobile phone to school for this reason, it must be left in the student’s locker until he / she is leaving the school. Mobile phones which are taken to school for any other reason, will be confiscated. It must be given to the teacher on request and will be left in the school office for collection by the student’s Parent/ Guardian at a time convenient to school management at least one week after the date of confiscation.

    In case of emergencies, students will be given access to a phone in the school and parents may contact their son/daughter by phoning the school office.


    iPods / MP3 Players

    If iPods, MP3 players etc are brought to school, they may only be used at lunch time. If they are brought to class or used at other times, the item will be confiscated. It must be given to the teacher on request and will be left in the school office for collection by the student’s Parent/Guardian at a time convenient to school management, at least one week after the date of confiscation.

    Refusal to hand over the mobile phone / iPod / MP3 Player will result in suspension from school for one day.


    Mobile phones, iPods, MP3 players etc are the sole responsibility of the students and the school does not accept responsibility if the item is lost or stolen.
